Our Beliefs
We believe that the primary purpose of our personal salvation is a calling and equipping of believers to fulfill the great commissions of the Bible found in Genesis 1:28 and Matthew 28:18-20. We highlight three aspects to these commissions:
- Generational faithfulness – Be fruitful and multiply (postmillennialism)
- Dominion taking – Take dominion and subdue the earth (theonomy)
- Disciple making – Make disciples of all the nations (reconstruction)
These terms are demonized by today’s culture, but their disapproval does not change the truth. We hold to an optimism in which Christ’s church will make the world a better place by way of strong families who conform themselves to biblical living and encourage others to do the same. This will happen throughout history until the Lord’s return.
That’s not scary, it’s joyous. We intend to continually challenge culture until the earth is filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord. Please join us.
Summary Statement of Faith
We believe in the only true God, distinct in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who out of nothing has made heaven and earth and all that is in them, and still upholds and governs them, so that nothing comes to pass, either in heaven or on earth, outside of His divine will (Genesis 1:26; 18:16-22; Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 2:4-9; John 5:23; 8:57, 58; 10:25-30; 14:8-11; 17; 16:5-15; Acts 5:4; 9:3-5; Colossians 1:15-17; Philippians 2:5-11 I Timothy 3:16; 6:13-16: Titus 3:4,5; Hebrews 1:8; I John 5:7; Revelation 1:8, 17,18).
We believe that we are conceived and born in sin, and therefore, children of wrath by nature, wholly incapable of doing any good and prone to all evil; and that we, in thought, word, and deed, have frequently transgressed the commandments of the Lord (Genesis 6:5; 19: 4,5; Deuteronomy 32:15; Romans 1-3; Ephesians 2:1-3).
We believe that Jesus Christ, who is both true and eternal God and very man, who assumed His human nature from the flesh and blood of the virgin Mary, is given to us of God as our Savior, and that we by this predestined faith and repentance receive remission of sins in His blood, and that we by the effectual power of the Holy Spirit have become children of God and members of both Jesus Christ and His Church (Mark 1:4; Luke 3:3; 24:47; Romans 12: 3-8; Philippians 2:5-11; Ephesians 4:7-16).
We believe that the elect of the true Church are saved unto good works, for the proclaiming of the gospel, the formation of godly families through covenant marriage of one man and one woman, the subduing of the earth, and the discipling of all nations; all for the glory of the Triune God. When Christ’s worldwide redemption is sufficiently complete, He will return for His bride, the Church, and deliver her up to God the Father (Ephesians 2:10; Genesis 1:28; Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 15:24).
